Beverly Ultsch is the first person on SL who tied me up. Well she made sure that the hobble suit I wore was tightly and securely locked in place and that all the plugings available have been properly activated, which left me very miserable but also definitely quiet, my vision reduced to the minimum, just enough to contemplate the lovely curves of my captor right before she poofed away for dinner.

But she came back.

That’s one of the lovely things that have to be known about Beverly, whatever your limits and tolerance are, they will be respected.

And last but not least, Beverly is definitely, absolutely, incredibly hot and sexy. The kind of girl who makes you run to buy shackles just to experience the infinite pleasure of lying hogtied at her feet.

The gardens of Da Vinci

The other day she took me to a lovely sim, the gardens of Da Vinci in the Akepa region.

You really feel like entering a Renaissance painting, stepping into a quiet maelstrom of warm colours and artistically crafted shapes, a landscape made of high peaks raising above the ocean, stairs abruptly climbing the rock to some ancient ivory gazebo whith columns of an antique beauty bathed by the orange wings of the sun.

The white towers of castles reach the sky while, down the mountains, bridges born in sculpted marble cross the sea, leading to the colourful peace of some hidden shore where you and your loved one can relax and cuddle or take a slow romantic boat ride.

If you enjoy more privacy, you can always climb the giant tree and go hide in the house nesting at the top, concealed by its golden branches and forget about time while lost in contemplation.

A large white feather will take you for a tour of the whole sim but other flying devices, once created by Da Vinci himself, just wait for a pilot to take off and slide over the white fingered waves of the ocean caressing the rock.

If you want to escape the sun, just dive into the ocean, explore the ruins half buried in the sand while fishes of extraordinary shapes and colours gracefully dance around you and, attracted by the long painfully sweet calls of the giant whales in the distance, go watch these behemoths breathtaking ballet.

Nothing personnal

Well it seems that someone took what I wrote in my “Alone On Arrival” entry personally. I was just expressing my opinion and was far from criticizing anyone in particular, merely stating what I saw and heard in general and asking myself questions about a situation that, from my point of view, I find sad and puzzling. I was absolutely not referring to anyone in particular.

Moreover, my goal was absolutely not to interfere nor meddle into someone else second life, especially someone I hardly know . I never do this in RL and see no reason to behave like this in SL.

I will try to keep my entries as neutral as possible and keep my views, if any, for myself, certainly what I should have done since the beginning of this piece of blog.

RP or not RP ?

I am not good at roleplaying.

I mean that I don’t play a character here, I am just being myself and when dealing with a specific situation I react the same way I would in RL.

With its exotic locations and its endless possibilities, I consider SL different and surrealistic enough of an universe for me to feel the need to roleplay a fictional character.

Of course, when actually “playing” a bdsm scene with someone, I will adopt the needed attitude like I do in RL but I am not a Domme 24 hours a day and I certainly don’t log in expecting to be whipping asses on a strict regular basis.

I know that some people come online to play and play again, considering SL as a big bondage video game and very often neglecting the other aspects of this virtual world. Socializing, exploring or simply chatting with friends are not included in their list of activities. I bear no grudge against these people and won’t dare to judge them.

I just see things a different way.

When chatting with someone I never know if this person is emotionally really reacting or just faking according to the character she chose to play and, most often than not, I have been surprised or puzzled by answers I received to some of my naïve questions. I don’t mix RL and SL, that’s not the point here but I can’t help believing what people tell me and react accordingly only to discover that they were just giving flesh to their character.

I guess I just have to get used to it.

That’s the reason why you won’t see me often in “official” rp sims like Deadend where everybody is supposed to actively and constantly be someone else. I am impressed by the fact that players go as far as having an entire forum devoted to the adventures their characters live where they share the last episodes of this dramatic serial.

I sincerely would love to join the fun but being a poor actress myself, I guess I merely would spoil the game. Besides I am far from being talented enough to compose these long and sophisticated sentences describing what my character is supposed to do as going only by dialogs doesn’t seem to be considered enough of a thrill.

Reputation is a strange thing here in SL.

For instance, it took me some time before actually getting into grabbing keys and playing in Stonehaven. I used to merely sit in one of the comfy chairs of the patio and listen or watch what was going on. Well, as strange as it may seem, this lack of substantial activity didn’t prevent me from gaining the rep of a tough and strict Domme.

Yep, in spite of the fact that absolutely nothing in my behaviour nor my words could have lead to such a conclusion, I was seen as the kind of Mistress whose path had to be crossed with caution.

Ok, now take the case of Yasmin. She actually plays a lot and she actually takes care of a whole family of subs. Moreover, she is far from being a newbie and has been roaming the grid for quite a while now, leaving her mark in many bdsm sims.

So many things has been said, told, whispered about her. Some of them bad, some of them good as it goes with gossips and rumors. Her reputation became an hard shell wrapping her wherever she goes and whatever she does.

But did many took the time to go scratch this shell and check if everything that had been said, told and whispered was actually true ?

Did many took the time to try to understand what motivates her, and first of all, why so many girls chose to trust her, love her and become member of her family in spite of all that has been said, told and whispered ?

I consider Yasmin one of my best friends here even if, as usual, I definitely could be much better at expressing and showing it.

She is one of the rare persons here who manages to give flesh to a relationship, to see beyond the avatar and deal with the actual human being lost on the other side of the screen. She is one of the most experienced bdsm practicionner I have met so far in SL, perfectly knowing what she does and why she does it. She is not only extremely skilful at coping with your restraints but also wonderfully careful when dealing with your soul.

Yes she loves to play a lot, yes she will grab your keys within the blink of an eye, yes she can be tough but hey, you don’t run a whole family if not with a firm hand. Subs know better and can rapidly tell the difference between who is pretending and who is worth their obedience and respect.

And Yasmin attracts many subs.

This girl is no fake and has so many priceless gifts to offer.

And besides she is smart, funny and sweet.

Gag Snob

I am a gag snob. No doubt about it !

What a frustration to realize that once I just finished up wrapping a lovely avatar, her inventory doesn’t include a silencer. It just spoils my fun as bondage is not complete until the victim’s gorgeous lips are sealed properly.

“A gag is just a gag you know”. What a terrible thing to say ! I heard it once as I was helping someone to pick up a nice muffler at the Kidnapped Shop. All gags look different and will make you look different. While some gags will enhance the beauty of your eyes, some others   will make your cheeks bulge nicely and thus altering the lines of your face will accentuate this delicious pressure feeling that we all love when practicing our favourite hobby.

When in a switchy mood, I take as much time to choose the gag I am going to wear as I select my clothes and will feel extremely disappointed if my captor doesn’t make some good use of it. I just won’t feel helpless if not gagged.

Scripters and restraints creators certainly did a great job including various speech garblers plugins in their products. Gags are more effective this way. So, what’s the need for a relay that enables you to decipher your prisoner’s pathetic attempts to express herself ? when someone is gagged, someone is gagged and I prefer to enjoy the lovely sounds she makes rather than starting a conversation with someone whose mouth is filled with a ballgag. Yes I have no desire to learn gaggish and if there is a need to communicate with my captive, I will just set her gag on “loose” before clicking again on the “tight” button or use IM (if this option is still available of course).

But, as far as I am concerned, nothing beats a good old classic “hummpffff” or some angry “grrrfffphhhh” or even an “mmmpffhhff ?”. I just love it and can’t even tell you why, maybe because it reminds me the comic books speech balloons or that I find it the best way to express a prisoner’s vocal frustration.

To totally mute your captive is also an extremely enjoyable way to let her feel how desperate her situation is. She can’t call for help, she can’t protest nor express the single feeling. Does she like what’s happening to her, is she afraid, furious, frustrated or simply trying to beg you out of her predicament ? who cares ? and if she is a very good sport, well, who needs to emote anyway ? she just has to wait and see what’s in store for her and there is absolutely nothing she can do nor say about it.

Of course, I will never take such drastic measures without knowing my partner first. Nobody plays the same nor enjoys the same activities. Our games are as different as we are. When meeting someone, I always take the time to know what her limits are and respect them.

But if she says “yes”, well, there is always the risk that it could be the last word coming out of her mouth before quite a while.

A few collars and an angel

Yesterday I visited the Omega Shop that sells exquisitely crafted collars loaded with tons of animations, poses and stuff. I sincerely would have been delighted to purchase one but:

First: I am not a sub myself and, at the moment, have no partner in crime to whom I could offer it and…

Two: Gee, sorry but I don’t feel ready to spend 5000 lindens into a collar yet.

Yes, 5000 lindens and even more for certain models, the cost of the tiers of a reasonnably sized piece of land. You have to be pretty sure of what you are doing here and trust that the partner worth of such a pricey present won’t poof into oblivion after a month. Well, on the other hand, I feel sincerely glad for the happy few who entered and will enter this shop to choose, along with their loved one, this strong symbol of their relationship.

I left the shop and took a short walk around until I saw this beautiful statue of an angel roped over what looked like a furnace or a lava pit of some sort. This is the first work of sculptural art that really catches my eye in SL and I had to stop and admire it for a while then decided it was definitely worth a picture.

Amalia Illios

I sincerely wish everyone to have a friend like Amalia.

This beautiful girl smiles and storms fade away because the warm and gentle fire she always manages to start in your soul and your body comes straight from her heart. You know what I mean, this deliciously soft heat wave that slowly invades your senses to make you instantly forget all the problems you had before logging.

She is a girl of many shapes, all lovely to maybe the exception of her fat ugly one that she sometimes enjoy wearing just to remind all the fashion victims out there in the grid, that pixels are just pixels and that only flesh and soul matter. Whatever disguise she wears, she can’t conceal the beautiful light that constantly follows her, in every word she whispers, in every move she makes.

In spite of the fact that she can prove to be an expert key grabber, she doesn’t log to spend her whole time online chasing and tormenting the subs who cross her path. She likes to know people, to talk to them and more important to listen to what they have to say. Chatting with her is certainly one of the most pleasant experiences one can have in SL. Getting to know this girl and letting her get to know you will bring more joy in your heart than all the cells in Snark.

As far as our favourite sport is concerned, pray not to fall into her hands as you would find yourself quickly and nicely secured in some remote corner where she will have all the time to make you fully realize that the word “escape” definitely needs to be banished from your book. Don’t be as foolish as I was one day, when, in a switchy mood, I went afk with all my keys ready to be stolen. What a surprise when I came back and what a glorious smile on Amalia’s face !

I am proud and happy to count Amalia as one of my very best friends here, a friend who will stay forever in my list, the kind of person who makes you feel home in SL instead of a mere stranger in strange land.
